Hope Valley Tree Care is a well-established arboricultural service providing both domestic and commercial tree work throughout the Hope Valley and surrounding areas.
Founded by Jon Dudgeon, N.C.H (Arb), Hope Valley Tree Care has worked in close conjunction with the Peak District National Park Authority for the past four decades. Our team of NPTC-qualified arborists bring years of experience, providing a service that is leading the way in industry standards.
Our services include tree felling, dismantling, pruning, stump removal, planting, wood chippings, and firewood. We also handle all applications concerning Conservation Areas and Tree Preservation Orders, so you don’t need to worry.
We crown lifted, pruned to shape, and removed dead, dying, and dangerous timber from over 70 lime trees to preserve this magnificent avenue of limes on the Tissington Estate.

This happens to be a speciality of ours at HVTC due to our decades of experience studying arboriculture, We offer this service at a highly competitive rate while not compromising on a quality finish. We have an extremely high planted/survival ratio as we source top-quality plants, from the best growers in Europe, and not only that, we plant in the richest Peak District screened soil. We have a tracked Hinowa Light Lift 20.10 that we regularly use onsite.
We can also offer hire of the machine and operator subject to availability.
Traffic Management (TM)
Do you own roadside land or property and need traffic management to safely carry out tree work? We have invested in a complete TM system so we are able to offer this service at around half the price of external companies.
Hardwood Logs & Wood Chippings
We sell seasoned hardwood logs and composted wood chippings with free delivery to the local area.
If you require fresh chip this can also be arranged subject to our schedule.
